Nyssos V. was born in Patras, Greece in 1976. He studied Journalism, Photography and History of European Civilization in Athens as well as Film Direction in Berlin at the Kaskeline Filmakademie. In 2011 he finnished his Masters in the Administration and Cultural Organization Units EAP. Since 2003 until 2011 he lived and works in Berlin.

The last few years he is living in Athens

As a photographer he has held solo exhibitions in Greece and abroad. Indicativly in 2010 at the Photographic Museum of Thessaloniki within the Film Festival. The exhibition entitled Street Sonnets was transferred to the Adam Gallery in Athens and later at the Nordic House in Iceland during the Reykjavik Film Festival. During the period 2008-2011 he worked for the Thessaloniki International Film Festival as the official photographer for directors portraits.

As a light designer for dance and theater he worked for teams in Greece and abroad. Indicativly he worked with the Adlib.dances team in Berlin who participated in international dance festivals in Europe such as: Aerowaves in London (2009), the En Danza in Madrid (2009), the Tanz Tag in Berlin (2009), the International Dance Festival in Kalamata (2009), the Athens and Epidaurus Festival (2010). His last work in theater was with the director D.Mpito for Silent Voices (2012) at the Vyrsodepsion and the greek tragedy Antigone (2012) during the Athens Festival in Epidaurus.

As a filmmaker he worked on short films and in 2008 directed the film Exodus presented at the Drama Festival. His last job as directing was entiteled Nowhere presented at Athens Video Art Festival 2012.

His first book of photography entitled Street Sonnets was published by the editions Adam (2010).
